But I think it's thanks to CBN who pulled the consulate to Hyd when they were debating to have the consulate in Hyd or Bangalore. From what I know YSR govt just boomed up the realty prices but nothing else, though realty went up in other parts of the country too.
PS: I'm not very sure if it was CBN who got the consulate to Hyd but just expressed my thoughts as we are talking about consulate/Hyd/how proud we should be etc in this thread.For those who know better or disagree with me please feel free to do so by posting in the thread but not by giving red/accompanying mssgs. These days I'm so cautious that unless absolutely sure I don't take any chances with posting on threads so as to avoid upsetting people even remotely. Do they assume that if you are in 7th year you can use your labor which you used for H1 7th year extension.
what about if i140 is denied on the previous labor and one cannot use that labor any more.

But for 140, ability to pay type of RFE can and will be answered by company financials etc. It's just that if you are already employed and are getting more than LC proffered wage and can prove that via W2+paystubs.. it makes it simpler even when company doesn't have enough assets or profits.

You can count on getting some type of RFE somewhere in the process that will ask you to prove the status.

they will not "do away" with comprehensive..... if it fails this year they will bring it up again next year and next..... there is no room for piecemeal...... if there were.... they would do it after cir failed in 2006, but they didn't..... they could do after cir failed in 2007, but again they didn't...... or they could do piecemeal in 2008, 9 or 10..... the fact they didn't .... it just tells us that we ought to learn something here..... there is nothing called piecemeal & there will never be anything called piecemeal in this leg of immigration reform, other than our own fantasy world.... so get over it...... there is only 1 way to do it.... cir

Only potential damage that could occur to legal immigration (from CIR) is chocking up the system; and therefore, we have to include that in our efforts else legal immigration will be a history for about a century.
Legislative relief is the only possible relief for EB3 India; else people who are already waiting for almost a decade will have another decade of wait; simply rediculous.

CIR is impossible with the current Congress, any legislator thinking it is a possibility is only misleading!
"That" legislator also knows it is impossible. He/she is doing it for a poltical stunt so that he/she can go say I did try from my side.
My belief is that this time around they will try a Dream Act - SKIL Bill combo meal to get some votes in Senate/House

Guys,
I did 3 Years Diploma in Computer Science after 10+2(Non Medical) from India and I have about 16 years of experience in IT. I am thinking of using this education to complete my Bachelors here in US. I would like to know what would my education equate to US Education.
I need an Idea how many courses I would have to take to complete the Bachelors? Please share any tips that would help me take less number of courses.It's not easy with kids.

This is one BIG STUPID mistake by your lawyer that can potentially ruin your life. I am hoping for the best for you on the other hand I wish the stupid attorney of yours should be sued in case your application is not accepted.
Hi, my 485 was rejected initially for "misisng or incorrect fee", per the rejection notice my attorney refiled the app. When refiling the app he sent two checks, one for old fee and the other to make up the difference for new fee. So, USCIS has an option to choose. Now, the Supervisor is insisting us to show evidence of a check being sent (or cashed) in the first place. The Supervisor has asked my attorney to take the time he needs and respond via fax once he's done reconciling. Now, that all the applications have been processed, my attorney has been able to reconcile the check register and confirm that they missed to send the check with my application. He is planning on writing an aplology letter to the Supervisor, do you folks think that Sprvr might receipt the app or reject ?
Given, the July fiasco, Fee increase, and the number of applications attorney's had to process these clerical errors are bound to happen I doubt if USCIS will show any leniency in this. Please let me know if any one is in a similar situation.
If the supervisor rejects the application (as its incomplete) what would be options ? Can I write a letter to USCIS director and explain him the situation and ask him to reconsider it ? Bottom line, why cannot they give us a second chance. It's evident that USCIS has done mistakes as well (improper fee rejections etc). My wife has ITIN till last year and we filed jointly. This year she has a social security number and we filed using social security number. Return was rejected by IRS saying that my wife's last year's AGI is wrong. Has anyone run into this ? What was the resolution ?
