I would agree to this. Only if you live in the US and do not get a pay check you will be in trouble for both H1 extension and GC processing.

i filed for EAD in early April this year. I could check the case status online and see it as "case received and pending". On the last day of April I received my EAD in mail but the status still showed the same.. There was neither soft nor hard LUD. Rather I checked it again today on May 7th and the status is still the same, no soft or hard lud..!

I did call them... They didn't provide me the details of the Additional evidence and asked me to wait for the Notice.. Also they said they will be sending it to my address.. I was under the impression that they will be sending it to my lawyer.

In my opinion, USCIS should grant Company C's H-1 petition though they may deny any extension request and thus company C's petition would only be valid through the 2011 date of Company A's petition. You will then have to travel out of the US to get an H-1 visa stamp before the 2011 date.

I compared the 485 inventories from 12/11/09 and the one on 10/1/10, released by USCIS. The net difference (approved) for EB3I is approx 1320, cleared mostly for the 2001 PDs. Don't know what happened to rest of the visa numbers ( ~ 1500) out of the mandated ~2800 for EB3I.

There are so many things that come into picture such as ability to pay , proferred wage , qualifications of individual , requirements for the job.
Can any one predict when will 2008 PDS will become current for people from India whether Eb2 or EB3 . As far as I can predict it really does not matter if some one is looking at PD of 2008 and from India , one is there for a long time if congress does not act.

Thanks folks. So my present employer will never know when I change lawyers. If I get any RFE's also within the next 3 to 4 months , it will go to the new lawyer.

Just updating my case in case someone is going through same situation and need help.
I mailed the two pictures that they requested on June 2nd, as today, my online status hasn't change, still says: Request of evidence sent, case placed on hold.
I made an INFOPASS appointment last friday and I just came back from talking with an immigration agent. They will expedite my I-131 for free, they said they normally do it within 30 days but he liked me and he said he was going to try to get in just 5 days.
He said he sent a request thought their intranet to the TEXAS SERVICE CENTER, they should be calling me if they need anything, if not, they will send me the TRAVEL DOCUMENT right away.
I'll keep you all posted!

Sadly fantastic as Photoshop is it's not vector based, so anything you export to Flash can end up looking weird and stretched.
Have you tried using Illustrator? It's very similar to Photoshop in the effects and tools that you have available, with the added advantage that is is vector based. So you can draw in Illustrator and then export it into a Flash movie.
The only thing I'd add to this is that sometimes it will throw up errors about .eps files (no idea why) and you have to export it as a .swf and import that into Flash. Either way though, this should solve the problem.

My client is a TARP fund received bank.I am planning to go India for 3 weeks in may.My visa expires in Aug09.
I have new H1 extension for 3 years.
--If I go for visa stamping will it be a problem as I am workig for TARP received bank.
--If I don't go for visa stamping and planning to comeback with old visa, will it be a problem at Port Of Entry as my client is TARP received bank and I am on H1B.

I had 2 RFE's related to photo's only. One for AP(1st time). The next one for EAD.
You got to be extra cautious with digital picture's. First time for EAD, digital got accepted and RFE for AP.
I took digital pictures once in CVS and once in another store.
Nowadays I go to a protraits shop and get a polaroid.
Digital are fine, but there are some quality requirements. Check these sites for more details

I have seen people talking about getting approvals with misdemeanors, but each case may be different. Murthy.com forums has a special section for people dealing with misdemeanor issues and have gone through the process, may be you will get some more tips about preparing for the interview there. Make sure that everyone in the family who has a pendng 485 has the travel document (AP); otherwise 485 will be considered abandoned.
If you are traveling by road and the trip is < 30 days, just use Automatic visa revalidation and do not surrender I 94 and come back on the old I 94.
If you are travelling by air or if trip is > 30 days, surrender I 94 and you can enter any way (on H1/H4 or AP does not matter as long as everyone HAS an AP).
Good Luck with your trip.

No. You can apply for H4 to H1 from any company. The new company from whom you have the job offer can apply for COS from H4 to H1.
See, its like this - H1 belongs to company but once you change it to H4 then the H4 does not belong to any company. Once you have offer from new company then the new company can apply for COS without any issues.

There is no such thing as duplicate EAD. Everytime the EAD is lost, USCIS issues a new EAD with new dates of approval and expiry i.e. they treat it as renwal. If you are not using EAD, don't bother to apply for one. It costs around $300+(i am not sure on this) and needs to be renewed every year.
