I had filed my I-485 in Jun 2007 my PD is Nov 2005 and was called for an interview at the local USCIS office in Feb 2009. My I-485 was pre-approved, now I am about to apply for AP renewal.
The question I have is which service center do I mail in my AP renewal docs? My original application was filed in Nebraska. So do I file it there or send it to service center in Missouri? Can any one who has similar experience post the answer to this?

I have a friend holding a "Tourist Visa" and still back home. If an employer files I-140 for him, will that give him a risk of not allowed entry using Tourist Visa at the port of entry because he has an I-140 petition?
If he works for the same company abroad that filed for his i140, it should not be a problem. If he does not work and instead wants to come on a tourist visa, he might have problems.

One word worth millions, so you are more than welcome to say what ever you want to!
But, when we say something is wrong we should know what is right in the first place, we are more than happy to accept the truth, if you can share with us.
Like it or not reality is tough to digest almost all the time. Let's hope our brothers and sisters will not fall prey to the evil employer(s):(

--Questions are not clear or I failed to understand them. IMO, when I-140 is denied, 485 goes down the drain. While your I-140 is in MTR process, you can switch to another job on h1b and start PERM process and then I-140 immediately. Since your 6 years on h1b are up, make sure the new process qualifies you for further h1b extensions(beyond 6 years) based on 365 day rule.
My guess is, if your I-140 gets denied, your h1b with 3 years of validity is not going to be valid any longer. Because you got that extension based on your previous labor and I-140. You have to jump to new GC process as soon as possible.
Also, talk to your lawyer. Hold my opinion as mere opinion.

Diptam, at this moment the best thing will be to get your wife an independent status.
She can get on to F-1 visa or file an H-1B visa. If your H-1B is being canceled for sure, then you need to move her on to an independent visa status.

Flash has it's own compression which it applies to any raster based graphics which are imported into it.. so, if you bring in a jpg or a png, or a ps doc, it will not add that much to the file. However png's and ps's will use up more processor power than the jpg's if they contain transparency and are located above another object, or are forced to move through tweening or a/s.

As per my company if you do not carry AP and your green card is approved and you enter using H1 you will invalidate your green card.

I called USCIS and created a new service request. Hope they will do it right this time.
My worry is if this is NOT FP notice, and something else, will it effect my application in anyway since I could not respond in a timely manner due to address change.

yes, you can. I did it last summer. the first officer at the border did not know the rule and said we could not enter, then an older officer came and said we could. they let us in with expired visa but approved h-1b extension notice
