Never mind. It's actually a script I needed to run in the terminal.

Hi,
I'm wondering how I can go about setting up my Mac so that I can share my family photos, but only to users on my home network. I'm often out on the road and use public wi-fi, as well as a work network, and I don't want anybody else to have access to these files.
Can anyone help me out?

Any proof, or just randomly spouting opinions?
I'm not sure you would describe it as "caning" but Android phones comfortably outsold the iPhone last year.

The real measurement of how well the CDMA phone will do is when apple releases the iPhone 5. That way people can measure the performance when both carriers are starting off at the same time.

It's cool, but totally pointless other than being used as a tech demo.
I fully expect that the control will not be fine enough on the layers / brushes, etc to be acceptable for commercial or even personal use. It's hard enough to select and erase layer parts when using a WACOM tablet on a PC or Mac... Now we do the same thing with fingerpaint precision....

The reviews so far haven't been good..... unplayable controls, and the games take up too little screen real estate. Sounds like a rush job to me.

I wonder how difficult it would be find an individual with the talents needed both on the Software Engineering side & the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) side. Most GIS education these days doesn't really focus on programming. Infact, most GIS "programs" are just crash courses on how to operate ESRI products.

That's funny, because the ice team I started playing with (all straight guys except for me) recently kicked a guy off the team for using the F word repeatedly, and that was before I joined. I don't feel the need to use slurs when I play, and neither do they. They think it's cheap, immature and they won't tolerate it.
That's actually very surprising (in a good way). People usually aren't as sensitive to that word as they are with the N word, especially straight people.

How do you record shows on your Mac and archive into mp4 files?
I can't! That's why I'm looking for a DVR solution. I can get an HD DVR receiver from Dish for $200 and that's looking like my best option at this point. I just garaged my Yamaha surround system and picked up a Samsung Home Theater system--the HT-Q70 system. 1,000 watts, 5 dvd carousel, HDMI out, plays DIVX and has a USB port that allows me to play DIVX movies off of a thumb drive. I think the HT-Q80 is out now and it has HDMI in and out.

hmm... laggy?
this seems like the fastest iPhone Twitter client i've used so far (and trust me i've bought just about every one).
switching between the timeline/mentions/messages, the loading is nearly instantenous.

LittleSnitch (http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/download.html) (alerts you to any connections trying to be made)
....
Dvd2onex (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19238)
(this is for legal back-up ONLY, for more infomation on how to back-up things private message me)
I really like those apps too but they aren't free... $25 for Little Snitch and $50 for Dvd2OneX.... isn't this a "free" apps/tools thread? On Windows, i use DVDShrink which is similar to Dvd2OneX but completely freeware... anything like that for Mac? And Little snitch functionality is in many free firewall programs for windows (Zonealarm for instance)... any on Mac that are free?

Lets say his girlfriends parents say it's ok for them to sleep in the same room. Also, lets say that you also know that your son is having sex. Lets also say that your son has been going out with this girl for 3 months. So would you let him or not?
First response: Hell ya I would! (Pat on his back) :D
Second response: Sounds like someone doesn't know how to be a parent. You obviously don't feel comfortable with him going, so don't let him!
Your the parent! What you say goes, whether he is 18 or not.

Unless you made the music and the video, you have no rights to it. You need to contact either: 1. a lawyer; 2. the recording company; or 3. a lawyer.

I believe this is to allow you to start your computer from a Mac OS X install disc on a remote computer. You will need to connect to your wireless network to see the available discs.
I think this feature was more useful for original MacBook Air and/or for installing Snow Leopard. Since the new MBAs come with a USB drive, and Lion is expected (or at least rumored) to be distributed as an App Store download, you probably won't need to use it at all.
