Anu has been out sick and will not be doing verification for next couple of months. Myself and other team members will handle this task in our spare time from other IV work and there could be delays. However we will try to have the delay only for 15 days at the most.

I have a close friend who has floated a company to pursue an entrepreneurial dream.
My husband is currently working in US and has filed for GC (140 approved status). I have an EAD and am working in a company very close to where I am staying.
My friend has requested me to help market clients for the product that they are developing.. Is it ok for me to approach companies, as a representative of my friend's company and try selling the product(strictly non-compensational)? Or will there be legal hassles in doing this? Please enlighten me with your thoughts..

If you have all the PERM case numbers with you then you should be able to find your PD in this link

It is interesting that you can find company names and sponsored people in this database. With job titles you can even guess who they are. I found mine, my job title being so specific.
Although employer owns I-140, it also relates to the person being sponsored. So, it should be possible to get a copy from Company A and B.

What has the Name Check initiation got to do with the submission of finger prints...Nothing.
I bet your notice date is about 2 weeks before your Name Check initiation (Sept 18, 2007).
Would believe the dates the IIO gave you.

1. In case of foreign currency payment, u can always walk to airline's kiosk in nearest airport and make a payment using any CC in USD.
2. Different travel sites have quota from airlines and they show different route/sector for different $$, so no one is best at all times!

Correct! One can only file EAD or AP when applying for I-485 when dates are current or after getting I-485 notice.
But you cannot apply for first EAD/AP before applying for 485, correct? I would be surprised if we can apply for EAD/AP just after LC or 140 approval and when dates are not current for 485.

I would like to think that there are lots of members who are interested in participating in campaigns like this. I participate in most of IV campaigns and have sent flowers and called all reps for 5882. This is a campaign that I would be interested in participating in. If you are going to chat about this on IV chat (which many members cannot access because of restrictions), then please post the transcript and summary here so that we can at least understand the viewpoints of the participants and the action plan.

I strongly recomend all EB3 folks who are retrogressed for more than a year to port over to EB2 if possible. Do not waste your time trying to pass some bill in favour of legal immigration etc. It will not happen. The money spent on porting is worth it . The wait is not worth the stress, tension etc.

My H1B expire on 9/30 as well as my I-94 also expires 9/30. Some how I miss my H1B extenction. I have EAD that is valid until next year mid. I am working right now what is my current status? Is they any way still i can extend my H1B.
My employer is saying there is no way to extend H1B after crossing the last date. You have to work on EAD.
But my question my I94 is expired on 9/30 then what is my current staus.

You need to file a new I-9 with EAD as condition of employment ASAP. Otherwise you are working without authorization as your H1B has expired. As far as status is concerned, you are good as you are on AOS, but file the new I-9 (with HR dept. of your employer) quickly to avoid possible complications in your GC process.

I am speculating this. Elite people in USA predicted this situation in early 90s and they put Country quota. We all knew that countries like UK, Germany, France are Staunch Allies of USA for many decades. So USA did not want those country persons to wait years . India was least favored country in past due to many political reasons. Though it is changing now still USA may like to give preference to many of their close Allies. Canada had TN Visa but India does not have similar thing. If this is a speculation then it is possible to change Country Quota. I strongly believe that it is easier to increase GC quota or recapture bill than removing country quota.
The country quota extends to all the nations and is not specific to few countries (India, China....) UK, Germany, France have country limits too, its just that their countries are not oversubscribed like India, China...
Country quota has no place in employment based green card system. The skill set that I have and that my employer seeks has nothing to do with the country that I was born in!

I believe the answer to that would be a 'No'.
If your spouse is claiming AOS benefits as a derivative by virtue of being your spouse then that would be the legal claim for those benefits.
However, the divorce would suppress that legal claim and as such there would be no way for the spouse to apply for those benefits as a derivative.

No.3 and 4 are my favorites.....but No. 4 is the one I wud choose as best. I like the touch of green and the sky is superb. Horizon Line is straight on. The pic is sharp all around, but what really catches me when I first viewed the picture is the "bolt" in the fence.
