I got it for missing Medicals for both me and my wife.
I would trust anytime my lawyer than USCIS.
here is what they did.
Wrong address even though filed for AR11 online and received Soft LUD online. This is one year old address and they didn't even put APT# in my old address. God's Grace I received it by mail fowarding without APT#
Didn't update my online status. Still showing Pending and no LUD or soft LUD
I know my lawyer put in G28 and medicals both when he was mailing it as I was the one who finally inspected and mailed the package.
Some other folks also got for Medicals. Looks to me a routine to get rid off pending cases or preadjudicate.

Thanks for the quick reply. For your answer to Question2.. my employer and some suggests not to file Ac21. just for the record sake i would send them a note that i would come back to the sponsoring company.
Do you think it is an option not to file Ac21 and still manage ? or will there be any issues for not filing ? any way i have to go back to the sponsor when its time...
If u dont file CA21 , just make sure , u dont leave and re-enter usa.
U may expect trouble at the airport.

Hello everyone,
Today 17th August, 2007 my I-485 packet was about to reach at Texas Service Center and unfortunately when I track my packet it shows �Notice Left� on USPS site, they mention they will try to deliver on Next business day. When I called at USPS , one lady picked up phone and she told it was PO Box no so we cant deliver. It is available to them to pick up but the man from USCIS might pick it up on early monday morning. Now I am worried does that mean my mailing date is Aug 17th or Aug 20th.
SO now USCIS will accept my application or not ?? Please advise ? Any body has same situation ?

Hi,
My parents got 10 year multiple entry US visa 2 years back. My brother who was residing here had sent the required documents and applied the visitor visa. My parents had visited me then for 3 months. Now I am planning to get my parents to US. But my brother no longer lives in USA. Is my parent�s visitor visa still valid since my brother is not residing here or should I re apply for my parents visitors visa. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Yes,, its valid for ten years..irrespective of the fact that your brother is in US or Not...

The only reason I see the lawyer not applying with enotice, could be he was very busy.
Even my attorney did not file concurrently on 28th as it was last day for PP of 140 and her office was extermely busy applying PP on 28th.
I then walked on 29th and signed all 485 , and she said she will wait for receipt notice and then apply and then July2nd showed up and this fiasco.
Once I got e-notice of approval for 140 by email, I called up the attorney and she filed 485 one day before the announcement of July17th.
At that time she did not have Hardcopy of either receipt notice nor approval notice. So she filed with e-notice of approval.
Next day we got hard copy of approval notice. The receipt notice is yet to arrive in mail.
I hope this is ok. Otherwise 140 receipt notice is a initial evidence and app could get rejected and returned.
But it should return by Aug 17th . So still there is some time to act.
If I dont get receipt notice of 485 by aug 16th, I plan to apply duplicate 485 and say in cover letter that this is because of so and so.
Sad that 485 receipt is not emailed ? like 140 e-notice.

I opened an SR and two weeks later my wife got FP and I didn't, I thought I'll wait for a week or two but in vain. When I gave a follow-up call I came to know that FP was scheduled at my Attorney's place (I live in west coast and I was scheduled to attend FP at ASC in East coast) and the twist is my attorney never received it.on top of it when I asked the Rep about possibility of scheduling an FP at my place she advised me to file AR-11 form, at this point it was very clear to me that Rep doesn't have a clue on what she is talking about. the very next day I was luck to get hold of nice rep who said I quote
" I don't understand why these people schedule FP at attorney�s location"
he apologized and said he will open an SR to reschedule at my location and he assured me that this time it will be at my location, which I got in couple of weeks.
Hope you will get your FP notice soon.

I did not have it either and I had tow A# number for me. This is what my lawyer did

I did it through my company attorney. I have full access to her though.

Unfortunately my EB2 I140 does not have the EB3 priority date assigned as my attorney did not seek that when applying. Now He is trying to get the EB2 I140 amended with the EB3 priority date. TSC keep rejecting it without giving any reason.

Hi,
I came to US in 2004, my H1 visa was sponsored by cognizant technology solutions. H1 was valid from Nov 04 to Dec 06. later on my I 94 was extended from Dec 06 to July 09 .
I changed company and joined wipro in Aug 08 and now my I 94 is now valid till July 2010.
I have never gone back to India for a visit ever since I landed in US (2004)..I now want to go to India for few months and have read that i'll have to get my visa stamped before reentering US...
My question is if i'll have any problems with visa stamping because I was originally working with cognizant and am now working with wipro?..Am I out of status since my original visa expired in 2006 ?...pls help

Chandu: I disagree with you. I think nobody complained on the website itself. People were unhappy with what it showed. The case status is incomplete and very abstract. I do not think anybody cared about navigation or buttons. Besides, it really they listened to the complaints, they would have fixed many more things before this thing. This would have been the last piece to do especially if they are having lack of workforce.

It is difficult to get H1b without client letter. Also many consulting companies stopped H1b because of RFE and denials. It is a good idea to try job to 2 to 4 more weeks.
Sorry to know about your layoff. What I would suggest is try to get a Consulting company ( maybe desi ) to transfer your H1. That would give you some leeway to find a project again.
